Inpatient Pharmacy On Call to communicate about admitted patients, as well as ER and outpatient patients who need medication from the inpatient pharmacy. There may be some overlap between this role and the ER pharmacist role due to the fact that there is some overlap with regards to where in the building a medication comes from. If it’s an IV medication, the Inpatient Pharmacy on call will generally be the one to contact and if it’s an oral medication the ER pharmacist would be the right person. But don’t worry about that too much, the pharmacy staff will get you in touch with the right person. 24 hours a day, any day
LTC Pharmacy On Call The pharmacist that staff at LTC should contact when they have medication questions (including needing refills of PRN medications and questions about items on the MAR) 9am-10pm, every day
