Requesting PTO/CME for Outpatient Providers

  1. Login to Amion and request the PTO/CME. (If you don’t know how, schedule training with the provider scheduler.)
  2. Email the provider scheduler with the request
  3. 2.Enter in KRONOS for the purpose of HR management. By entering in KRONOS, you will be able to see your PTO balance and the number of hours you request off will deduct from your balance. This will clearly indicate if you have enough PTO available for use.
  4. For CME, fill out the CME request form and submit it with the course syllabus.

Provider Scheduler will:

  1. Reply to the email with an approval or disapproval from the scheduling perspective
  2. Forward reply to Kevin and Dawn who will make the final decision on granting the PTO/CME

Why would request not be approved:

  • We need at least 12 providers in clinic every day.
  • We want to avoid all or most of your POD gone at the same time.
  • Provider requesting PTO has not accrued enough PTO (when making any PTO requests, you MUST calculate and know if you have enough PTO available for use. If you do not or will not have enough PTO available when you are wanting off, approval for that time cannot be approved.)
